The 4th Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo was wrapped up in Suzhou on Sept. 25. This year’s expo featured 13 activities online and offline falling into 5 categories, including the opening ceremony, artistic performances, exhibitions, theme forums, and night cruises on the ancient canal.
During the expo, six themed exhibitions were held at the Suzhou International Expo Center from Sept. 23 to 25, showcasing Grand Canal-themed tourism products, intangible cultural heritages, food cultures, etc. The exhibitions attracted about 4,000 exhibitors from over 900 cultural tourism enterprises and institutions from more than 20 countries.
According to incomplete statistics, the 3-day event attracted more than 100,000 visitors and 370 million online audiences.
